Choose the NutriMeter That Suits You

Close-up of labeled electronic devices with "Nx" stickers and a brown egg on top.

NxC

NxC is a simple comparison tool for everyday use

What it does:

  • NDI (Nutrient Density Index) only (fast scan)
  • Simple display
  • No connectivity

Key message:
“Compare food in seconds”

Best for:

  • Shoppers
  • Families

looking for best quality, best value for money!

NxiC

 Adds insight without complexity

What it does:

  • NDI + SSI (Sugar Spectral Index)
  • Ratio (SCI/NDI) to indicate extent of 'sweetness' dominance
  • Slightly more detailed display

Key message:
“Understand taste and balance”

Best for:

  • Engaged consumers, health enthusiasts.
  • Food enthusiasts (flavour rather than sweetness)
  • Those wanting to avoid sugar laden produce.           (indicator of possible GMO, NBT (New Breeding Technique), and/or other gene editing techniques etc.)

NxC - Consumers, Chefs

NxC - Consumers, Chefs

Each item begins with a Guided Link.

  • NDI readings only
  • 4‑second scan
  • Ideal for home users, chefs, markets
  • Entry‑level learning tool

NxC gives fast, stable NDI readings for everyday produce decisions.

NxiC - Sugar-loading

NxC - Consumers, Chefs

NxC - Consumers, Chefs

  • NDI (Nutrient Density Index)
  • SSI (Sugar Spectral Index)
  • SSI/NDI ratios, e.g.

>60% may be sugar laden

<40% may be natural.

NxiC adds SSI and SSI/NDI ratios for deeper sugar‑related analysis, including early‑stage identification of produce showing abnormally elevated sugar signatures that may indicate sugar‑laden GMO, NBT, or other artificial modifications.

NxiiC — Bluetooth

NxC - Consumers, Chefs

NxF - Farmers,Growers - Nutrient Density only

 Bluetooth mobile connection

  • Produce variety information
  • Ratings: poor / average / good / excellent
  • Ideal for consumers wanting guided decisions

NxiiC connects to your mobile to show produce variety information and quality ratings.

How It Works” (NDI/SSI explained simply)

Three apples on the left and a hand holding a remote on the right with text.

<--- This video to be updated soon to show SSI/NDI ratio's and explain the significance of these

- if SSI/NDI Ratio is >.6 (or 60%), then it is possible that the seed has been modified to produce "sweetness"

  • NutriMeter uses light to assess fresh produce — quickly and simply. It provides two easy-to-understand readings that help you compare food quality in real time.

When light is directed onto fresh produce, it reflects back differently depending on the internal composition.

NutriMeter measures this reflected light and converts it into simple indices.

NDI — Nutrient Density Index

A general signal related to the nutrient density of the produce as well as freshness

(Freshness Index (FI) uses same light waves as NDI).

👉 Used for NBI/FI comparisons between items.

SSI — Sugar Spectral Index

Indicates the relative dominance of sugars in the reading.

👉 Helps explain taste differences and balance

NDI / SDI Ratio

Shows the balance between density and sugar weighting.

👉 Useful for comparing eating experience. General rule at this early stage of testing:

- if SSI/NDI Ratio is >0.6 (or 60%), then it is possible that the seed has been modified to produce "sweetness"

- if SSI/NDI ratio is <0.4 (or 40%) then it is likely that the produce is natural, un-modified or heritage.

 What This Means

Nutri-Meter does not measure “good” or “bad” food.

It provides a simple, objective way to compare.

🟩 Why It Matters

Two pieces of fruit can look identical — but deliver very different results.

Nutri-Meter helps you:

  • Compare before you buy
  • Learn what works for you
  • Make more informed choices

Simple measurements. Better decisions.
