Different Nx's for different users, purposes and colors!

The Nx range has been upgraded from just readings nutrient density indices (NDIs) to reading nutrient densities, sugar profiles (SSI = Sugar Spectral Indices) levels and the  SSI/NDI Ratio.

As most GMO, NBT (New Breeding Techniques) and other artificial modifications to seed, have only increased sugar levels (and not the other 50 essential nutrients) in order to raise their BRIX levels to allow "industrially grown" produce to compete with 'regen' highly nutritious, delicious produce, this means BRIX is not a true measure of the level of all nutrients. Hence why Wiki recently changed their BRIX / Nutrient Density definition from "all dissolved solids" (i.e. all 50 odd nutrients, minerals, vitamins, etc,) to "mainly sugars", recently.   

The next Nxi (11th Nutrimeter) will have Blue Tooth connection to Mobiles, so offer you a lot more info, like:

• pics to verify the variety of produce you are measuring, and
• ultimately 'poor', 'avarage', 'good' or 'excellent"  Ratings as per the Ream BRIX Reading / Rating chart here. 

Optional accessories :

• Brown 'real' leather bag/case for extra protection. (Nx casings are steel).
• "Light shields" - mainly for Lab grades, ensuring no external light interference - 3 sizes are small marble, golf and tennis ball to suit those sizes of produce.  

There is a high correlation between Nx and BRIX values and therefore in the International Ratings* of poor, average, good or excellent for the 450 varieties of produce available in ANZ, many more in the USA. .
